What is Fireside? What other services do I need?
Fireside is your all-in-one platform for publishing and managing a podcast.
It handles the core infrastructure so you don’t have to:
- Hosts your audio files (your podcast episodes)
- Generates your RSS feed (used by podcast apps to distribute your show)
- Publishes your podcast website
- Distributes your podcast to platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify
Once your show is set up, Fireside takes care of the technical side of publishing and distribution.
Do I need any other tools?
For most creators, no.
The only tools you need outside of Fireside are:
- A way to record audio
- A way to edit your episodes
Once your episode is ready, you upload it to Fireside and publish.
What about monetization or memberships?
Fireside works alongside popular tools if you want to go further:
- Membership platforms like Patreon or Supporting Cast
- Advertising and dynamic ad tools (which may operate independently of your hosting)
These are optional and can be layered on when you’re ready.
